The instructor of Environmental Culture and Development, Eman Al-Absi, coordinated a lecture on Down Syndrome for students, which was held in the Auditorium from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Sunday 28th of May 2023. Dr. Madlein Al -Tahat from the Hands of Love Association gave that lecture, which included the following themes: - An integrated definition of people with special needs in general and people with Down Syndrome. - How to deal with people with special needs. - How to integrate people with special needs and engage them effectively in society. - How to develop their skills and support them in obtaining job opportunities. - Mention the rights of people with special needs in the Jordanian constitutions. - Addressing the importance of voluntary work and its importance to the community, like acquiring new and practical experiences and building social relationships.
