One of the important pillars for the success of the school of basic and marine sciences is the presence of the Marine Science Station (MSS), which was established in 1974 on the south coast of Aqaba as a research center. It provides a qualified staff and researchers, lab supervisors and technicians, and the required teaching and research laboratories.
